WATSON'S BBQ THIS WEEKEND
Watson's BBQ will be serving again this Saturday, September 5th, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. If you want to guarantee that your brisket or ribs are ready when you are, call the store at (575) 461-9620 to reserve them. Otherwise, it's first come, first serve. The menu will consist of beef brisket, St. Louis style pork ribs, rope sausage, sausage on a stick, sandwiches with sliced brisket, or chopped brisket or pork riblets, served with pickles and onions. We also offer hot dogs for the kids. Come by and check out the new serving wagon.

BULL RIDING AT THE FATHER'S FORGE
The Father's Forge on Lake Street has scheduled their first bull riding/ranch bronc riding event for Sunday, August 30, 2009, at 3:00 p.m. in the Forge's arena. FALL WHEAT PRODUCTION WORKSHOP
The Quay County Extension Office has scheduled a fall wheat production workshop for September 8, 2009, at 8:00 a.m. at the Forrest Fire Station.
Various topics will include seed quality treatments and planting; soil fertility and properties; variety trials; and grazing management and bindweed control.
NMDA CEU's will be offered.
